Writing and submitting my first article

Friday, May 2.  Hello everyone!  Today was a great day.  Nice weather, day off, got lots of little things done.  Entirely enjoyable.  Also made my flight plans for my trip to Thailand.  I will be leaving May 18 and returning May 30.  Also got my first email response about my place for rent.  That would be really cool if that worked out.  We'll see!

Anyway, today's new experience was to write and submit my first newspaper article for the Dexter and Chelsea newspapers.  It was fun to write, and quite exciting to submit.  The article was about how people should get ready for the golf season.  It's getting warmer everyday, so I thought the readers might enjoy reading about some simple things they can do to be ready to play their best at the beginning of the year.  What I liked about the article was that it was very basic and simple.  And nothing about instruction yet.  I hope to do more instructional articles later if they like what I do.  I just talked about cleaning their clubs and how to warm up their games for the new season.  Anyway, lots of fun!

Back to teaching tomorrow, and then I have a benefit dinner to go to later.  Off to chill out for a little while and watch some tv and relax!  Enjoy your day or night and smile and laugh!  Later.
