A business trip

Monday, March 31.  First of all, happy birthday to my friend Sue.  You are old, dude.  Today was a nice day.  Good lessons and continued gradual but peaceful and healthy steps forward with Paula.  We're letting things go where they go, and that's great.  I'm very excited about tomorrow's trip, and have more of less finished packing.  I still have all morning tomorrow to get a few errands done and finish packing.  Ready to rock and roll!

Today's new thing is packing and getting ready for a business trip.  I feel excited and different about this trip.  I've been lucky enough to pack and leave for many vacations, but never really truly a business trip.  The process is a little different, as I am not just thinking about how I'm going to have fun, but how I have to have all the documents, sketches, and ideas ready for the trip.  The details and such.  It feels great to check and double check that I have all I need for my week in Thailand and business, not just the right clothes for all the side trips and fun for a trip that's just a vacation.  I guess I just feel like I'm grown up and getting down to business.  It feels cool.

I will do my best to keep up the blog as I'm gone, as I'm sure I'll have many new experiences to share with you all.  The next time I write, I'll be writing from Thailand, where exciting new things will take place and where I'm sure it'll be hot as hell!  Til then, friends, and don't forget to enjoy and smile and laugh!  Later.
