National TV

Sunday, June 15.  First of all, happy birthday to my sister Julie!  How are you all?  I'm doing great.  Tired, but great.  It has been an exciting and exhausting weekend.  It's nice to see it come to an end with everyone happy and I'm glad I had a chance to experience all the craziness.  Today, I taught a few lessons, got fit for a new driver, went over to Julie's house with Paula, and watched the exciting end of the US Open.

My new experience for the day actually happened on Friday, but so much has happened that it just seems fair for me to carry one over.  On Friday's ESPN telecast of the Open, the lead announcer, Mike Tirico, mentioned my name on national TV as Justin's instructor!  How cool!  Rick's dad also said that I was mentioned on the Golf Channel later that night on their "Live from the US Open" show.  I don't know anything about that and have not heard anything about that from anyone else, but cool, I'll take that too.

This week, things get back to normal a little.  Teach some golf, hopefully play some golf, and just hang out and relax some.  I hope you all have a good day or night, and thank you for all of your love and support as usual.  I'll check in with you again tomorrow.  See ya!
