International final qualifying
Monday, June 3. Hi everyone! What's up? I hope all is well with everybody, and all is great with me! Tired, but great. My new experience for the day was to caddy in the International Final Qualifying for the British Open for Justin. This was a very unique exclusive privilege for Justin in that only very few get to play in the event. It is based on world ranking alone, and his performance over the last three weeks has moved him up on that list which allows him to get into more and more events. It was tough to carry the big tour bag for that many holes, and I will admit that I'm not the best caddy in the world, but it was fun and an honor to be there. I was also recognized quite a bit myself and received another invitation to do the Big Show radio program because of it. We shot 2 over and didn't make the Open field, but we tried to do the best we could and just didn't have it. From his perspective, I think he just ran out of gas. Deservedly so from winning the Nationwide Tour event and then having to drive all the way back to Dearborn from Toronto. He didn't arrive until about 1 am, we got to bed at 2:30 am, and woke up at 5:30 am. No excuses, but not the ideal situation for playing 36 holes.
