Meeting a movie star

Sunday, July 6.  Hi everyone, how are you?  I am doing great and I hope you are too.  Today was my special day off.  Just decided to take it off.  Kind of slow at work too because it's a holiday weekend.  So I got a chance to sleep in and relax in the morning, then took Paula, AJ, and Elliot to lunch at Zingerman's.  We met up with Rick, on his way to Chicago, and my parents, who needed me to sign something.  It was a nice time and a beautiful day.  Later on, I showed my house to a nice couple and then helped Paula and the crew clean the garage.  It looks great!  I then finally went to play 9 holes with Elliot.  Nick from work called me and met us on the fourth hole and it was nice to play with him and spend some time with him.

Today's new experience was to say hi and approach a movie star.  At Zingerman's, we saw Drew Barrymore, who is in the area to shoot a movie.  So I decided to go up to her and say hi and that I liked her movies.  She was very nice and said thank you.  But it was cool to have the guts to just go up and say hi.  I loved it!  In past times, I would've never done something like that, but felt like what the hell, you know?  What's the worst that could happen?  Anyway, meeting a movie star is definitely something new for me and I'm happy to have done it!
