Monday, July 14.  Hi everyone!  How are you?  I hope great.  I am very tired but great.  Lots of exciting things coming up.  Tomorrow, we leave for New York, where we will watch a Pulitzer winning play, hopefully get to make an appearance on a TV drama, find fabrics for my fedoras, and also just have some fun.  I also was supposed to be able to find out whether or not I got accepted into the UM MBA program tonight online, but my impatience and weariness made me screw up and I've locked myself out.  So I'll have to call tomorrow to see if I got in or not.  Oh well, that's just the way it's supposed to be right?  It would've been a nice first birthday present for me though, wouldn't it have?

Anyway, today was busy.  Some golf, some getting things lined up for the upcoming purchase of the student rental property, and a new prospective tenant wanting to take a look at my house for rental.  I also managed to wire Pae about $18,000 for my share of the nightclub and open a bank account for our property LLC, Twenty-Fifteen Properties.  Busy busy busy!

My new experience for the day was getting a post on the blog from a total stranger, Vyolet from Australia, who had some nice things to say about my blog and it's ambition.  Cool.  I read some of her blog work and she sounds like a sweet and interesting soul.  If you're reading Vyolet, let's continue to correspond, ok?  There are no accidents in this life and there was an immediate sense of connection that I felt as I looked at some of your work.  So I hope I've made a new friend!

Time for bed now.  Early flight tomorrow and exciting things for my birthday planned.  We'll see you tomorrow.  Smile, laugh, and enjoy until then!  Love to all and I'll talk to you later!

How very sweet of you to mention me in your blog. I am very touched.
I was coming back with a suggestion for your 180 things. It's kind of juvenile and best enjoyed when in a silly mood and with friends. But jenvenile isn't always a bad thing. ;)
Eating popcorn with chopsticks. It always make me laugh but I have no idea why.

vyolet,

no worries about your mention! my blog is a very personal endeavor so i am so very surprised when i get a response or comment, so i would be remiss if i didn't respond in some way. and i will undoubtedly eat some popcorn with chopsticks and report back to you on how hilarious i find it to be!

and by the way..."shades of vyolet" is as beautiful as my blog is silly. no, make that it is WAY more beautiful than mine is silly. my blog aspires to be as silly as yours is beautiful. you've crossed my mind more than once since your first post. there are no accidents in life, i believe, and i have a feeling we will be in touch some more. it's funny and wonderful to be moved by someone on the other side of the world. kind of neat really. cheers and smiles to you. have a wonderful day.
